Maksym KuzaievCurtains can build up dust, pet hair, and allergens over time, making your home feel less clean. Washing and pressing them yourself can take a lot of time, and some fabrics need extra care.
If you’re already hiring cleaning services or carpet cleaning services, you might want to have your curtains cleaned at the same time, and that’s why I looked at the best curtain cleaning services in Ottawa.
Check out my top picks below!
How much does curtain cleaning cost in Ottawa?
Curtain cleaning in Ottawa typically costs $99 to $250+ per job for on-site services, while drop-off dry cleaning is usually charged per pleat. The final price depends on the size of the curtains, fabric type, and cleaning method.
| Service Type | Average Cost |
| Drop-Off Dry Cleaning | $2.55 – $3.25 per pleat |
| On-Site Professional Cleaning | $99.00 – $250.00+ per job |
1. Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning
Website: https://ultrasonicblinds.ca/
Address: 1125 Kenaston St.
Contact: 613-978-7562 | [email protected]
Hours: Mon to Sat 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Ultrasonic Blind Cleaning has helped Ottawa-area homeowners care for their window coverings since 1992. The team removes your sheers, cleans them at their shop, then brings them back and rehangs them for you.
During the process, you don’t have to lift or reinstall anything yourself. This full-service approach works especially well for dusty or delicate curtains.
For extra peace of mind, they guarantee against fading and shrinkage. Most residential jobs are also finished the same day, so your curtains are back quickly.
One thing to consider is that your curtains will be out of your home for a few hours while they’re being cleaned. If you’d rather have everything cleaned where it hangs, this service may not be the best match.
2. The Parliament Cleaning Group
Website: https://cleanit.ca/
Address: 2570 Edinburgh Place
Contact: Tel: 613-733-7250 | [email protected]
Hours: Mon, Wed, & Fri By Appointment Only, Tue & Thu 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
The Parliament Cleaning Group has served Ottawa since 1996, when the McKinney family started the business. The team cleans drapes and blinds with bonded, insured, and security-cleared technicians who work around scheduled appointments.
In addition to window coverings, they clean carpets, upholstery, and entrance mats. This wider service makes them a practical choice for offices, rental properties, and other commercial spaces.
When I spoke with some regular clients, they praised the crew for arriving on time and doing careful work. Their long history also gives customers extra confidence.
That said, the company isn’t focused only on curtain cleaning. If you want a service that specializes just in window treatments, their broader approach may not be the best fit.
Excellent Experience from Start to Finish
Excellent experience. From the first phone call, to the visit (amazing gentleman that came and cleaned our sofa and stairs) all the way to the last step of paying – it was great. Highly recommend. The truck that came provided great cleaning and power – and they did not use a lot of highly perfumed cleaners – it was just Clean!

3. BestDry
Website: https://www.best-dry.ca/
Address: 121 Garrity Crescent
Contact: 343-297-9200
Hours: Available 24/7
BestDry cleans curtains right inside your home, so you don’t have to take them down yourself. Their mobile team handles heavy drapes, cornices, and valances while protecting your floors and furniture before cleaning begins.
Because everything stays in place, the process is simple and causes less disruption. Most curtains dry within one to two hours, too, so you can use the room again much sooner.
As an added bonus, they back their work with a 30-day service guarantee. That extra protection gives customers more confidence when booking.
The main thing to know is that appointments usually take longer than some other cleaning visits. Most jobs need about one and a half to three hours to finish.
Professional Whole-Home Cleaning Service
This company is a real professional company. They did and excellent job and a very attentive service in the whole house. I have called them 2 times since 2021. My next call will be for them for sure! Totally recommended.

Address: Billings Bridge Plaza
Contact: 613-521-5067
Hours: Mon to Fri 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Goodfellow Cleaners has helped Ottawa customers care for curtains and drapes since 1990. They use a special cleaning method that helps reduce shrinkage, making their service a good choice for delicate and older fabrics.
Their long experience also helps customers feel confident about leaving special fabrics with them. My cousin told me her vintage drapes came back looking great after the team handled them with extra care.
To make things easier, customers can drop off their curtains at several locations across the city. This gives people more flexibility when planning a cleaning visit.
It’s worth knowing that some fabrics may show slight color changes after cleaning. Bringing matching curtain pieces together can help keep the colors as even as possible.

Transparent, Careful, and Excellent Service
Truly excellent service and customer service! I had three somewhat difficult pieces I dropped off about a week ago. Nick carefully inquired about each piece and explained what could feasibly be done for all. Nick followed up with explanations and updates and went above and beyond! The service was incredibly reasonable and my pieces all turned out beautifully. There was also a lot of transparency with pricing and this was all communicated beforehand. I am so pleased! I also spoke to Caleb and he was helpful and friendly. Don’t hesitate to give them a try!

5. Browns Cleaners & Tailoring # 33
Website: https://brownscleaners.ca/
Address: 571 Bronson Avenue
Contact: 613-235-5181 | [email protected]
Hours: Mon to Wed 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Thu to Fri 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Sat 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
As an Eldon Drapery franchise, Browns Cleaners & Tailoring #33 cleans curtains, blinds, and rubber-backed window coverings with professional equipment.
They also offer repairs, plus free pick-up and delivery using GreenEarth cleaning products approved by Environment Canada.
This team makes curtain care easier with its free Blue Bag drop-off service for regular customers. This feature helps speed up repeat visits and lets you skip the usual lines.
With those services, keeping your window coverings clean feels much more convenient. Their combination of home pickup and professional care can save both time and effort.
The only limitation is that they also focus on many other services, including alterations and wash-and-fold laundry. If you’re looking for a curtain-only specialist, they may not be the best fit.
