We ventured over to Clean Freaks, and this family-owned gem really stands out in the carpet and upholstery cleaning scene in Ottawa. The team is approachable and entertained our call right from the get-go.
Another plus in our books is that they use cleaning products that are not only safe for kids and pets but also friendly for the walls, leather, and the environment.
Also, they’ve provided us with thorough information on how to keep the carpets cleaner for longer, which is a nice touch. They also give free estimates, which we appreciate, since we were on a budget.
When we spoke with some of their previous clients, many expressed sentiments about the reasonable rates paired with stellar service quality.
We’re just a bit disappointed with their lack of social media presence. In this day and age, I think all of us agree that an active online presence is important.

We were pretty thrilled to check out Quick Dry, who has their cleaning game on point! First off, their carpet cleaning service is two thumbs-up for us.
From what we’ve observed, they really nail it when it comes to deep cleaning carpets, removing stains, and tackling those pesky pet odors.
Plus, they use chemical-free products that are so safe—especially a win for expecting moms, pet lovers, and folks with asthma or allergies.
What’s more, they also handle upholstery cleaning, oriental rug cleaning, and even get into tile and grout cleaning. This made us think that they really are a one-stop shop cleaning service for both homes and commercial spaces.
However, it’s important to note that these services come at a high price. On the upside, they offer free quotations, and we love how transparent and friendly they were when talking about estimates.

Whether you need a minor fix or a color adjustment, they handle it all on-site or per request. What’s more, for first-time clients, they’re offering a sweet 30% off the total bill, which we found an awesome deal.
We’re also quite happy with how courteous and professional their team is. They really took the time to explain to us their carpet cleaning process thoroughly.
But, given that, the price is still on the higher side, and several people we talked to echoed the same sentiment.
Also, there can be a delay in turn-around times because they’re super popular and handle a lot of customers (which says a lot about their good service).

We were thoroughly impressed with 1Clean Air, as they are a go-to in Ottawa for all things air duct, dryer vent, and most importantly, carpet cleaning. The team was friendly, and we found them really knowledgeable about different carpet materials and stains.
They also handle residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and even government spaces, which speaks volumes about their capability and experience.
We also liked their attention to eco-friendly practices by not using harsh chemicals. Moreover, feedback from other customers we spoke with and some online reviews echoed that their staff is easy to reach and helpful.
However, we did find the cost is higher. Some of us feel it’s worth it for the quality you get, but others might think twice if they’re on a stricter budget.
Another small con was that although they’re efficient, scheduling an appointment during busy times can take a bit longer than we’d hoped.

Additionally, the customers we talked to mentioned how friendly and helpful the staff were. They said it’s a big help that they guide you through every step, making sure you pick the right service for your needs.
