Accurate Stairs and Railings was one of our teammates’ service providers for a recent renovation of their stairs. We were able to do a site visit and saw how organized and coordinated the staff worked, even cleaning after the day was done.
While their services are limited compared to other companies on this list, we appreciate their deep expertise in various stairs and railings projects, which makes them well-versed even in complex renovations or construction needs.

We were able to compare different types of stair railings that might be suitable for our home. The expert staff provided examples of what could be done to fit in and serve the purpose – improving safety on the short stairway. They came later that day to measure. Ottawa Deck and Rail was on our radar because a friend of ours hired them for a small railing job for their steps and found them to be efficient, easy to work with, and meticulous.
Their specialization is outdoor railing installation – specifically for front step railing, deck railing, deck privacy walls, frameless glass, and pergola. Upon checking them out, we like that they have clear-cut systems both for installation jobs and DIY installations.
If you’re handy, they have available installation instruction videos on their website. If you choose to avail of their end-to-end services, their in-house installers ensure quick and easy coordination.
Based on our friend’s feedback, she really appreciated Ottawa Deck and Rail’s transparency and constant updates. She was never in the dark when it came to stock availability and project timeline, so she had clear expectations.
There were slight delays with her project because of the weather and staff emergencies, but she appreciated the quick problem-solving and attentive customer care they provided.
Very personable, professional, quick, clean
Our old, tired metal railing was in need of a refresh requiring sanding and re-re-repainting. We decided on a new aluminium one and after considering look, quality, availability and cost (vs DIY and other installation companies) chose to buy from Ottawa Deck and Rail. I had a minor question about our specific installation and Alan (the ‘actual’ installer!!) came out and answered my question(s). He was terrific on both of his visits, and I can’t give him enough praise. I was looking for a company do to a small railing job, I called a company in the spring left a message with return of call. So in August called a second company “Ottawa Deck and Rail” left a message and within 3 hours they called me back. (5 stars for that) They ask I send a picture of what I wanted to be done, and got the estimate with a drawing of what they suggested for our need, within 24 hrs with a clear written estimate. (5 stars for that also) We accepted the estimate and an installation date was booked at that moment. (5 stars again) They showed up on time, the job was done very professionally, all clean after. West Wholesale has built a solid reputation as a service provider for vinyl fences and deck railings since 2015, serving both wholesale distribution and construction needs. They can handle renovation, replacement, and installation.
One of our property managers recently hired them for a big railing project and noticed that their work is of high quality and well-executed. Their products have a powder-coated finish and require little maintenance, making them ideal for harsh weather.
Our office manager mentioned that despite the premium services and products, the prices are relatively affordable. So they’re a good option for large-scale projects. We checked out the original blueprint and the end product and saw that everything was well-executed.
