As the name suggests, Funhaven in Baxter Road is a haven for anyone looking for a day packed with fun. This indoor theme park has everything you’ll need, from games and rides to food and drinks!
Funhaven is home to the only roller coaster ride in Ottawa, the Crazy 8, which is perfect for those looking for some thrilling rides.
Through its VR games, you can also enjoy other thrilling rides, like fighting off zombies or experiencing what it’s like to be in a hurricane.
For those coming together in groups, Funhaven’s laser tag and escape rooms will surely give you a blast. With its 5,200 square feet playground for its laser tag game and four different escape room challenges, you won’t find a place as fun as Funhaven!

Flying Squirrel Sports is a trampoline theme park located on Cyrville Road that is sure to have you floating in happiness! The indoor park is packed with various attractions and activities, from a kiddie trampoline court to a dunk hoops trampoline.
The Adventure Playground section of the park is designed to give kids aged 12 and under a safer environment to play. It’s packed with a floor-to-ceiling jungle playground, climbing walls, rope courses, and slides to give kids the most fun they can get!
Older kids, of course, also have an area where they can let loose and jump to their heart’s content! Flying Squirrel has an airbag trampoline launch lane, battle beam, dodgeball trampoline court, arcade games, freestyle courts, and so much more!

Smash Room Ottawa Inc. in Lady Ellen Place is the place to go if you have some pent-up anger, frustration, or stress that needs release. I mean, is there any better stress reliever than smashing machines and glassware?
The park offers various packages, from 15-minute quick smash to solo and three participants 30-minute smash. Items you can smash include glassware in various sizes and large items, like coffee makers, VCRs, chairs, tables, vacuums, and so much more.
This theme park, though, is only for people aged 12 and above as it can be dangerous for younger kids. If you’re aged 12 to 16, make sure to have your parents or guardian with you along with a signed waiver to participate!

There’s no better way to beat the summer heat than spending a day at Calypso Theme Waterpark in Limoges. Open from August to early September, the waterpark (water parks ottawa) offers a range of fun activities for all ages.
Calypso has a heated wave pool where you can get splashed by waves that reach up to 1.8 meters high! It also has two themed rivers, Jungle Run and Kongo Expedition, where you can embark on unique river adventures and explore caves, falls, and more!
Aside from these, Calypso also takes classic waterpark facilities to the next level. It has over 35 slides that are unique in their own way, rafting facilities, and more than 100 water games to keep the day both action-packed and fun-filled!
Pro Tip: Get there early and start on the slides! The park’s peak hours are around 1:00 to 5:00 PM, and the lines to the slides around this time are extremely long, so it is best to try the slides before the park gets crowded. An additional tip is to try to get there on a weekday since it tends to be less crowded. |
