The 9 Best Miniature Golf Courses in Ottawa

The crisp crack of a golf club striking a ball, the satisfying ding as it sinks into the hole, and the ensuing cheer—there’s nothing quite like a game of golf. But let’s be real: navigating a huge course can be overwhelming, especially with hyperactive kids in tow.

But don’t worry. We’ve scoured Ottawa and its nearby towns for the most thrilling mini-golf courses. These courses will take your next family day or friend hangout to the next level of fun!

Get ready to putt your way through these exciting courses!

Blackbird Falls Putting Course

Address: 320 Terry Fox Drive, Kanata, ON K2K 3L1, Canada

Website: http://www.marshesgolfclub.com/golf/blackbird-falls

Contact details: 613 271 3370, 1 800 417 8555

Operating hours: Monday to Sunday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Admission fee:

Adult: $10 + tax

Youth (13 to 17): $8 + tax

Child (4 to 12): $7 + tax

3 and under: Free with a full-paying adult

Blackbird Falls is like the little brother of the stunning Marshes Golf Club—smaller but just as impressive. With 18 holes placed uniquely throughout the course, this mini-putt will have you feeling like a pro.

The course is designed to mimic everything a regular golf course, but at a scaled-down version. It boasts bunkers, water hazards, river stones, tiered surfaces, and all other obstacles you’ll find in a regular course.

This is an indoor mini putt, so it’s usually only open during the warmer season. The course typically opens in April, but if you can’t wait, they recently opened an indoor golf course!

Pro Tip: Make sure that you’re wearing appropriate golf attire because they have a pretty strict dress code. Socks are required unless you’re wearing golf sandals, and metal spikes/cleats are not allowed.

Admission fee: $15 + taxes

Putting Edge is not your typical mini golf course that boasts a green landscape and sunny weather. It features a black-lit mini putt course with glow-in-the-dark statues, walls, and murals, creating a fun golfing experience like no other.

This is a multi-level, 18-hole course that can be quite hard to get used to at first due to the overwhelming neon lights, but trust us when we say the lights add way more thrill to the game. Plus, kids will likely have more fun with all the colours surrounding them!

The fun doesn’t end there, though, because Putting Edge also has a glow-in-the-dark arcade on top of its mini-putt. You’ll have an absolute blast playing air hockey, Line Master, King Hammer, and other classic arcade games!

Pro Tip: Wear bright neon clothes so you can stand out in the dark. This will help you get Instagram-worthy photos of yourself.
