We hired Brother’s Electrical for a few wiring fixes last summer and found them to be efficient, easy to work with, and honest. So we decided to review their ceiling installation services as well — we weren’t disappointed.
First, they were easily reachable, and we were able to get an appointment right away. They promptly provided us with a detailed quotation, and the entire process was seamless. Their electricians were professional and very meticulous in their installation.
Something we appreciated was the pricing. Despite having several fans installed, the prices were reasonable. Given the quality of the work and how quickly they completed it, we got more than we paid for.
Something we’d like them to work on is their website. It’s a bit dated, and the list of services is hard to read. We found it better to call them and have them walk us through their offerings. Their staff is really warm, and we like the personalized experience.

Another good option we found is Floodlight Electric, a company that’s been around for almost 25 years. We learned about them because they’re one of our office’s main contacts for a wide range of electrical services and repairs.
They’re a trusted service provider in the neighbourhood, and it’s not hard to see why. From what we see, their brand of service is very intentional, and their electricians are very knowledgeable.
We saw them install the office’s ceiling fans and were impressed by their quick response, professionalism, and efficiency in dealing with clients. They’re also quite friendly, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. The installation itself was over before we knew it.
We appreciate their wide range of services and their capacity to handle complex job orders for commercial establishments. This makes them a versatile service provider for both big and small needs.
That said, their prices are on the premium side, so that’s something to consider.
They are honest and professional
Floodlight Electric installed a hood range and 2 bathroom fans that I purchased myself. The price was VERY fair and they finished the work very quickly (in a few hours). We discovered LB Electric through a trusted friend who recently had some renovation work done. Based on his experience, they were professional from the beginning of the engagement and had good after-sales services.
We were able to see them in action ourselves and found that they were experienced, quick to pivot when needed, and worked very hard to ensure their client was happy with the work. The electricians were punctual, friendly, and respectful of the space.
While our friend only hired them for new home wiring, ceiling fan installations, and some general electrical services, we were impressed that they offered a wide range of services, including working with generators, pool and hot tub wiring, and even panel upgrades.
They’re also transparent with pricing. We found their quotations to be thorough and easy to understand. While their services are certainly not the cheapest, they’re not the most expensive either.
That said, we found that there are seasons when they get quite busy. We saw reports of them getting back to customers late during peak seasons.

Wink Electric Inc. was another recommendation, this time from one of our renovator contacts. They worked with them extensively and vouch for their meticulous and high-quality work.
While their range of services isn’t the most extensive, they found that the electricians at Wink go above and beyond typical services and are accommodating of last-minute fixes. Their customer service is top-notch.
Most of their clientele are loyal customers who have worked with them for years. They’re intentional with their services and offer a personalized customer experience. So it’s no surprise they’re a trusted company.
We found them to be a good option for complex work and long-term jobs. Our renovator contact applauded them for hassle-free renovations and ceiling fan installations.
If we are to nitpick, we wish they had a better website to make it easier to browse through their services. It’s a good thing their staff are friendly and informative on the phone, so you can learn more about them that way instead.

Lastly, BRT Electric made our list because we found them to be a reliable service provider. We used their services for our ancestral home recently, and we liked that they were easy to contact and that we could schedule an appointment right away.
Plus, their staff is informative, highly skilled, and efficient. Since the house was old, installing ceiling fans was bound to be challenging, requiring updates to the wiring and removal of some fixtures. They were able to do so without a hitch.
