Let’s be honest—everyone wants a smile they’re proud to show off. Now, if the thought of bulky metal braces makes you shudder, you’re not alone.
Thankfully, Invisalign has totally changed the game for getting straighter teeth without anyone even noticing. But, of course, picking the right place to start your Invisalign journey can feel a bit overwhelming.
To help you out, my team and I compiled some of the best Invisalign providers right here in Ottawa! Check out our reviews for the best options that can help you score the grin you’ve always wanted!
How much does it cost to get Invisalign in Ottawa?
In Ottawa, Invisalign treatment typically costs between $3,000 and $8,000, depending on the complexity of your case and the provider you choose. Most clinics in this price range are similar to traditional braces, and some offer financing options to help spread out the payments.
1. Braces Haven

Address: 240 Kennevale Dr., Suite 204
Phone: +1 613 440 6116
Business Hours:
- Monday and Tuesday – 8 AM to 5 PM
- Wednesday and Thursday – 8 AM to 4 PM
The first thing that left an impression was how organized and sleek Braces Haven’s clinic feels. Everything is spotless, and the waiting area isn’t cramped or chaotic.
Their use of state-of-the-art scanning tech also means less of the dreaded impression goo and more time spent actually understanding the treatment.
We also appreciated how fast we were able to get hold of Dr. Cohen. The consultation process with him was easy-going, with no jargon or pressure, just straight and clear answers.
Chatting with a couple of patients in the waiting area, we also kept hearing about the flexibility. Whether it’s booking at odd hours, jumping on a virtual consultation, or finding a payment plan that won’t wreck the savings, most loved the available options here.
Some even highlighted how the team makes a point of reaching out with actual helpful reminders and tips!
Unfortunately, a couple of minor grumbles did pop up about the front desk being a bit standoffish on busy days and how the clinic operates only 4 days a week.
Caring team
“Braces Haven has the kindest, most above and beyond team in Ottawa by far! I had my consultation with Sindy who is absolutely wonderful and explained my options so clearly, and every member of their team treated me, and everyone I encountered in the office, with extreme kindness and care on each visit! They are also so flexible for their patients and are able to accommodate for any and all circumstances. I will certainly be recommending this orthodontics office to everyone interested!”

Supportive service
“My experience with Braces Haven has been fantastic. I recently lost my retainer yet again, and they gently reduced the replacement cost, which was really appreciated. Everyone I’ve dealt with there has been welcoming, polite, and professional. They go beyond what is necessary to ensure that patients feel taken care of. Thanks to you all, I now feel very comfortable and confident smiling :)”

2. Stars Orthodontics

Address: 239B Argyle Ave.
Phone: +1 613 232 4266
Business Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 8:30 AM to 4 PM
- Friday – By appointment only
Star Orthodontics is definitely one of those clinics that stand out when we’re talking about Invisalign and orthodontic care in Ottawa.
Dr. Sharaf’s credentials are honestly next-level—years spent honing his craft and a ton of professional recognition. Moreover, he has experience handling everything from routine cases to complex craniofacial needs.
We also noticed that Star Orthodontics is always looking for ways to make things easier for its patients.
Aside from their guaranteed same-day or next-day appointments, they also offer flexible payment plans and even digital impressions using the ITERO® system (so long, goopy moulds).
There’s also a dedicated app just for current patients, which is pretty handy for keeping appointments straight and getting quick support.
A few of the patients we spoke with mentioned that virtual consultations save a lot of time, and the team is always clear about costs and expectations from day one.
The only downside is that they’re in demand, so spots fill up quickly—you’ll want to book ahead if you’re hoping for prime appointment slots.
Attentive care
“Dr. Sharaf is an excellent orthodontist. I had 5 consultations with different orthodontists prior to proceeding with Invisalign and he was the one who was able to present the most reasonable treatment plan. He is extremely knowledgeable and also extremely kind. He remembers specific details about each patient’s treatment. I am happy with my results and would definitely recommend Dr. Sharaf for Invisalign.”

Accommodating staff
“Overall great experience! Used to be a patient of the late Dr I. Milne and returned to the orthodontist office with very kind and understanding staff. Regrettably did not wear my retainer for over 3 years and my teeth shifted. Dr. Sharaf made adjustments to my original retainer to fit more comfortably to stop my teeth from shifting further. Additionally, he provided me the information on Invisalign. I will be coming back to complete the Invisalign process to fully straighten my teeth again.”

3. Dr. John I. Kershman

Address: 1579 Bank St.
Phone: +1 613 738 1108
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 8 AM to 5 PM
Dr. Kershman himself is stacked with credentials (certified by Align Technology for Invisalign and all that), but still takes time to lay things out, especially when someone’s case is more complex.
He’s big on using the latest tech, like full-on 3-D computer graphics and the iTero digital scanner—no more old-school messy impressions. This is why everything about treatment feels precise and custom-fit.
A couple of folks we spoke with backed it up and mentioned they felt listened to from the start. They also highlighted how it wasn’t just the standard one-size-fits-all spiel.
We noticed that Acceledent and Propel were offered, too. These options are a win for anyone hoping to fast-track the timeline of their braces.
Another big plus? The payment options are pretty flexible, which helped a lot for families juggling schedules and budgets.
Finally, the staff vibes are low-key, friendly, and on the ball, though we did hear about a few last-minute reschedules (so, not totally perfect on the admin side).
Minimal wait
“Dr. Kershman’s orthodontist office is an amazing place, no matter what your needs are. You want Invisalign? Done! You want traditional braces (like I did)? They are happy to do that too. The staff are professional and friendly. In my almost three years of going here (which is way shorter than my siblings had their braces on at other practices) the worst experience I had was a 10 or so minute wait, which while unfortunate, is a very minor issue. Finally, I’d like to end this review with a quote from a great mind: “Wear your elastics!” – Dr. John I. Kershman.”

Life-changing Invisalign results
“I just finished my Invisalign treatment and I cannot express how overjoyed I am. My teeth look better than I could have ever imagined. Dr. Kershman knows what he’s doing and he is by far the best orthodontist I have ever had. I previous had an orthodontist who swore my teeth couldn’t get straighter. Dr K took my case and gave me my DREAM smile. He did not quit until I was happy! I am so so so happy. Thank you to Dr. K and his team. Very patient, talented and professional group.”

4. Wellington Village Orthodontics

Address: 175 Holland Ave #300
Phone: +1 613 722 8500
Business Hours:
- Monday – 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Tuesday and Wednesday – 7 AM to 3 PM
- Thursday – 8:30 AM to 3 PM
Wellington Village Orthodontics is the spot where tech meets comfort, thanks to their 3-D iTero imaging and in-house 3D printing for retainers and aligners, which speeds things up quite a bit.
Even better, the space itself is welcoming—clean and low-key, with a waiting area that doesn’t feel at all clinical.
Now, Dr. Picard gets a ton of love from patients, and it’s easy to see why; she’s been around since 2007 and just comes across as genuinely approachable.
Her being bilingual clearly matters to a lot of folks in Ottawa, too. We chatted with a few patients, and the consensus is that options are never limited.
For instance, there are classic braces, clear ceramic, code-nerdy Incognito braces, and Invisalign for basically anyone—kids, teens, or adults. The perks caught our eyes, too, with the flexible payments and the family discount programs everyone raves about.
However, getting a reply on the first email took us some persistence. But once booked in, follow-through is solid, and everything is laid out transparently.
Clear communication
“Wow! What a good experience I’ve had here. The staff are so clear and professional about everything, and the space is always clean and sanitary. They have a great points system and are always nice when doing difficult treatments. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to get a good orthodontic experience.”

Welcoming atmosphere
“Wellington village orthodontics has been so welcoming and helpful in my braces journey. The receptionists are lovely, the hygienists and every other member of the staff are incredible and so friendly. Dr Picard is great and doesn’t try to overcomplicate things, she makes it simple and she’s easy to talk to. Love coming here!”

5. Ottawa Downtown Dentist

Address: 111 Albert St #114
Phone: +1 613 235 7677
Business Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 8 AM to 4:30 PM
- Friday – 8 AM to 1 PM
Ottawa Downtown Dentist really stands out if Invisalign is on the radar. Dr. Wakter’s credentials put him in a league of his own—over 15 years as an Invisalign provider, and officially a Gold provider since 2022.
Based on patient feedback, he’s known for really listening and mapping out a plan tailored for each case, not just handing out generic advice.
His use of an iTero 3D scanner means everyone gets a digital preview of what their teeth could look like by the end of treatment. Even better, the custom treatment plans here usually include whitening, which feels like a bonus.
We love that booking a consultation is straightforward here. Plus, there’s a free 20-Second Smile Assessment online, so potential patients have the time of figuring out if Invisalign even makes sense before heading in.
But while most of the experience is smooth and professional, a few folks mentioned a push to consider other cosmetic or dental services during appointments. Still, the transparency on pricing and no-pressure first consult balances that out.
Meticulous patient care
“Dr Wakter is a consummate professional. He is extremely pleasant to deal with and has great rapport with his patients.
I always tell him he is both an engineer and an artist when it comes to teeth repair. He is extremely meticulous and aims for perfection, which he achieves! I have been his patient for over 30 years and have always been thoroughly satisfied with his services.”

Thorough service
“Kim was an absolute pleasure! Very professional and does thorough work. It’s nice to get service in place where the staff genuinely care. – I will be back for sure (and flossing as instructed!”
