We’ve heard about RSVP Events through word of mouth when we were looking for planners for our company’s party, and it turns out that they’re one of the best at organizing these events!

One of the things that makes them great is that they’re a jack of all trades (fortunately not a master of none). This is because their event planning covers everything from staffing to venue management, decors and everything in between!

We also love how they offer their own photo booth for their planned events, as it does a great job of capturing memorable moments in the celebration. It’s not your typical booth too, as it features tons of backdrops, props and its very own host.

One thing they could improve upon is their operating hours because, at the time of writing, they’re only open four days a week.

From what we’ve seen, Runaway Picnic has mastered the intimate quaint gathering with your loved ones. Their name is apt, as they allow clients to arrange amazing picnic packages.

However, we couldn’t prepare ourselves for what they were actually offering. We were surprised to see just how fancy and luxurious their picnic packages were, as they looked straight out of a rom-com movie!

We can see this type of setting being perfect for those looking to arrange proposals, bridal showers or even simple date nights!

Several of their past clients whom we interviewed also shared some kind words about Runaway Picnic, especially about their packages. They loved how the planner was able to include add-ons for their gatherings such as flowers, fire pits and even a personal butler!

One thing they could improve upon is their reachability. They don’t have a physical office and their only provided contact information is an email address, which can be difficult to reach at times.

After a lengthy phone call, I can confirm that All in One Events truly lives up to its name. They’re one of the best events planners you can work with in Ottawa, as they can lend their services to weddings, small gatherings, non-profit events, birthday parties and everything in between.

We were further impressed to see just how hands-on and collaborative they are with how they approach each client. For instance, they’ll also take the reigns when it comes to full-service designs, planning and coordination.

All in One Events also handles all the entertainment needs for their clients’ events. They can source DJs, live bands, dance groups and other performers to make sure that your guests will be entertained throughout the event.

We do wish that they could extend their operating hours on the weekends though, as we understand that most people don’t have a lot of time on their hands during the weekdays.

During our inquiry with Sea and Silk Events, one thing we immediately noticed was how jolly and friendly their staff members were. We’re not the only ones who noticed this as well, as their previous clients all had amazing things to say about this company’s employees.

Among these compliments was how hands-on and collaborative their planners were. One thing that stood out, in particular, was how the staff member was constantly making check-in calls to the clients to make sure that everything was okay.

Furthermore, we love how they offer a full range of services when it comes to their wedding packages. They’ll aid in everything from the menu conceptualisation down to the budget planning and management, which we thought was pretty awesome.

However, they are not the most flexible event planners out there since their main focus is weddings. If this is indeed the specific event you’re preparing for, however, you’re in good hands!

Right off the bat, we were impressed with Amanda Julia Events when we saw the range of services they offer. They cater to different types of gatherings like weddings, corporate events, charity events and more.

We reached out soon after and one of the things I immediately took away from Amanda was her attentiveness. I appreciated how she took the time to listen to our vision, as it gave us the impression that she wanted to make the event right for us as much as possible.

Although we didn’t end up working together, her past clients whom we interviewed shared positive words about her service. A lot of them highlighted Amanda’s hands-on approach during the planning stage up to the day of the event itself, which is a great trait to look for in a planner.

One thing we weren’t a fan of was how vague the descriptions of their services were on their website. Also, we wish that they would extend their operating hours since they’re closed during the weekends.
