We first heard of Summit Sheds and Structures when they built my grandfather’s garage a few years back. We remember how efficiently they worked then, so we decided to contact them again, and we weren’t disappointed.
From what we’ve seen, they’re a fantastic option for those with complex specifications because they specialize in custom sheds. They build them onsite, so it would be tailored to maximize the space, which we appreciate because space-saving was one of our priorities.
From the discovery call, the designers were responsive and attentive to our needs and preferences. Communication was always clear and frequent, so monitoring the project was a breeze.
They also don’t hire subcontractors, so you only need to coordinate with them directly, making the process seamless and fast.
Since they make custom sheds, the construction time takes longer, especially for more intricate orders. So, if your priority is speed or if you need something standard, it might be more practical to go with a pre-made shed.
We were overwhelmingly pleased with the entire operation
We had wanted a nice workshop for some time but found nothing suitable in the prefab structures. Our online request to Summit was responded to by Paula the next morning with an on-site assessment and contract drawn up that afternoon. The 12′ x 12′ workshop with two ventilating windows and a steel door plus white siding matches our house. Perfect! On the agreed upon day Eric and Joe arrived at 7:30 AM. They worked quietly and efficiently through the hot day with scarcely a break. The sod that had been removed for the mesh and gravel foundation, they repositioned in front of the shed leaving a lovely “finished” lawn. All was raked and cleaned up by 4:15 PM the same day. After checking them out, we saw that it wasn’t empty hype – they’re a great service provider to work with for high-quality sheds.
Something we liked right away is that they offer both customized orders and ready-to-buy sheds that they can prepare and install for you. We were able to check out the customized shed they made for our friend, and the craftsmanship is commendable.
Based on our conversations with other previous customers, Crawford Sheds’ customer service is amazing. The staff is really kind and helpful, always ready to answer questions and assist with concerns.
While we did not experience it, there are some reports of long lead times for deliveries. This does not seem to be a consistent thing, but it’s something to take into consideration.

Mac Sheds Canada is a family-owned and operated business with established expertise in building custom sheds. They’re well-known for high-quality carpentry. After seeing their recent work for our property manager, we can attest to this; their skills are top-notch.
We can see that every detail for the shed’s interior and exteriors were accounted for, with strong floors and pre-stained smart panels. They were also very efficient, working quickly and even keeping the work area clean.
If the project is relatively simple, they can even have the shed installed in just a few hours – impressive.
We also saw how hands-on the staff is before installation and even after, as they answered questions and provided constant updates without prompting.
We noticed that their prices, especially for standard sheds, are reasonable. They don’t even require a deposit, but they do require full payment upon project completion. There are no payment plans available, and there’s a surcharge when you use a credit card.

The five-star reviews don’t lie – Mac Sheds were great. They built us a 12×12 ft shed in less than a day. The guys building it were very friendly and professional; and we are very pleased with the end result. We had a very old 10×12 ft. shed before that was falling apart, and it’s amazing to me how much adding 2 more feet of width gave us so much more space. The new shed is also high enough that I (6′ tall) no longer smack my head on the cross beams, which is a huge plus!

After taking a look at some of the shed companies in the area, we came across Mac Sheds. We wanted a quality shed that would fit in our budget and we weren’t disappointed. Valley Sheds Inc. is another service provider that offers reasonably priced, high-quality custom sheds in the area. We heard of them from one of our officemates, who recently hired them to build a shed and a gazebo for their backyard.
From what we’ve seen, they’re a good option if you want a pre-built shed that’s ready for delivery and assembly at your location. You can
That said, there are cases during peak season where the lead time can be quite long. It’s best, then, to have an honest conversation with them regarding timeline expectations.
Something we appreciated is that they are very transparent. You won’t be kept in the dark about progress, stock availability, or delivery time.
The craftsmanship of the sheds is top-notch; you can really see that the company takes pride in its work. They’re also very easy to work with. The customer service is intentional, with the staff even calling after the delivery to check if you’re satisfied.
The price is great, customer service is second to none
We ordered a shed from Kevin for the back of our property. He asked what design features we would like and that’s exactly what we got. The process was amazing from start to finish. Unlike other companies I’ve dealt with, Kevin kept in contact with me, updating the progress and making sure that delivery would fit my schedule. When we first talked, he let me know how to prepare the base for the shed, what stone to use, what kind and every detail of what I needed to do. Valley Sheds is about 2 hours away and we were told that Jake would be here at 3:30, to inspect the site for delivery. Usually when people give me an appointment time I add 2 hours because I don’t believe them. Unsurprisingly, Jake was here at 3:15. This speaks volumes on their customer service. The truck pulled in with the shed and in less than 15 minutes the shed was sitting on the base. Jake levelled it up, attached the shutters and flower boxes and was on his way. This took less than an hour. I would highly recommend Valley Sheds to anyone. The price is great, customer service is second to none.

Highly recommend Valley Sheds. My son bought a 10×20 shed from them 3 years ago and it’s still in excellent condition. We needed one at our new house so we purchased a 10×16 from Valley Sheds. Good price, friendly service, fast turn around and delivery. They even did a post delivery check to ensure it would be OK. Can’t ask for more.

While they’re more well-known for building gazebos, The Assembly Experts is also a great service provider for shed assembly and installation. We saw them at work on a project near the office and were impressed by how efficiently they worked.
They’re a good choice if you already bought a shed from a retail store, for example, and just need help with assembly from competent and skilled contractors. From experience, we saw how professional their staff are – punctual, skilled, and respectful of the space.
While we didn’t need it at the time, we saw that they have a diverse range of assembly services, covering different kinds of furniture, outdoor structures, and commercial businesses.
We like that they’re an all-around service provider that’s useful, especially if you’re in the process of moving houses or have events.
While their hours are inconsistent, we liked that their customer service is not lacking. They’re attentive and responsive to client concerns.

We searched for someone to install a gazebo and shed in our back yard and came across the Assembly experts which had rave reviews. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. They were very knowledgeable and even helped pick out a good quality gazebo and shed based on our requirements. The crew showed up and got the job done – right into the night as they were down a couple people and took a little longer and even came back next morning to finish up on some things.
