It’s not my first time hitting the road this way, but I’d forgotten just how comfortable and convenient it feels, especially if you’re camping off-grid instead of booking hotels.
Naturally, my curiosity kicked in, and my friends and I decided to browse around. So, after doing the legwork, we reviewed the best RV dealers in Ottawa. Read on to see what we think about each one and get started on your adventure!
How much do RVs cost in Ottawa?
RVs in Ottawa typically range from $15,000 to $60,000 for travel trailers and mid-range units, while luxury motorhomes or destination trailers can exceed $90,000 to over $200,000, depending on size and features.

Primo RV Centre offers a wide range of RVs, since they’re partnered with several manufacturers, like Coachmen, Catalina, Northern Spirit, Forest River, etc. So, you can find options for travel trailers, park models, hybrids, and more.
We noticed that many of their new RVs come with modern, comfort-and-utility features. Some models come with a sealed underbelly, a 200-W solar panel and solar controller, tank heaters, and several interior add-ons, which is great if you want something upgraded.
As for their used units, we love how they’re fully serviced. The work done on some of these units includes roof wash and reconditioning, caulking re-seal, bearing service, LPG recertification and more, giving buyers confidence that the RV has been inspected and is roadworthy.
Just a heads-up, though, some of their higher-end RVs can be priced above what some competitors offer, so it’s best to negotiate well.
But hey, they offer financing options like weekly payments, zero down payments, and other deferred plans to help spread out the cost.

Another huge win is that every unit undergoes pre-delivery inspection, where their technicians check appliances, seals, brakes, and safety systems before it leaves the lot, sparing customers from immediate and dangerous issues.
Their after-sales support is also worth highlighting. You can count on them for warranty repairs, maintenance, and parts, especially since their service center is staffed by RVIA-certified technicians.
On the flipside, we did note some reports from customers who felt that the company’s urgency to address concerns and follow-up requests was slow and lacking.
Nonetheless, we can’t deny that Vos Trailers Ltd is a reliable pick, especially if you’re looking for quality and premium towable trailers.

What stood out to us the most about RV Canada Ottawa is that they carry a large selection of travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, and park models.
We like that these units come from brands like Keystone, Jayco, Thor Motor Coach, Forest River, and more. It also means you can easily compare multiple types and price ranges in one place.
It’s also convenient for customers that this is a full-service RV dealer, which means you can purchase, accessorize, and maintain your RV without having to deal with multiple businesses.
The drawback is that there could be some wait time even if you have an appointment, which can be frustrating for some.
Here’s a positive note: they offer competitive financing plans, and they’ll walk you through each one so you won’t get blindsided.
Lastly, we love that they do trade-ins and professional appraisals, making it easier for RV owners to upgrade without the hassle of selling privately.

As you can tell by its name, Travel-Mor Trailer Sales specializes in a range of towable RVs like travel trailers, hybrids, and fifth wheels, with brands like KZ, Sonic, and Connect.
Just keep in mind that since they’re a smaller dealer, they don’t carry as many units as others on this list.
On the other hand, there are perks that come with being a smaller dealer, such as offering competitive pricing, especially since they have lower overhead costs. This also makes their entry-level units more attractive for buyers who want to start RV-ing without breaking the bank.
We also have to give them props for making the process as easy and safe as possible. You see, their technicians test systems like water, propane, and electrical to make sure the RV is road-ready on day one.
One more thing we appreciate is that they have an on-site department that takes care of warranty repairs, maintenance, and add-ons. Plus, many clients mentioned its quick turnaround for small fixes.

This dealer also offers used RVs. And it’s reassuring to know that their RVs undergo inspections before being listed, to guarantee buyers can get roadworthy and clean units.
Speaking of roadworthy, we love that they have a dedicated on-site service department where you can take your RVs for maintenance, repairs, and warranty claims. Many clients benefited from the fact that this place makes after-sales support more convenient.
The catch? We observed that getting a service appointment can take longer than expected due to the demand and crowd of customers coming in during peak season.
Regardless, we have to give Ottawa Camping Trailers credit for effectively matching customers with the units they want and providing helpful tips and guidance to start RV-ing properly.
