We love how they offer an extensive selection across many vehicle systems. They got parts for all makes and models, including engines, transmissions, bumpers, axles, wheels, batteries, fuel pumps, and more, making them a reliable go-to if you need something ASAP.
It’s also convenient that they maintain frequent stock refreshes, suggesting that parts are being added regularly. This also means you can get “fresher” parts even though they’re used already.
Speaking of convenience, if you can’t pick up in person, you can have them deliver the parts to your location.
Here’s the best part: even though they’re used parts, they still back it with flexible warranty options and give descriptions of the condition.

On that note, their installation and repair services go hand in hand with their parts supply, especially if you happen to need replacements for the repair, and happen to have a limited budget to buy new ones.
It’s just a bummer that they don’t have an explicit warranty or guarantee for their used auto parts, so it’s best to discuss that first, particularly for the pricier ones.

The best part? They offer a one-year parts and labour warranty, which is already a generous coverage for a used parts supplier. This means if something fails early, you’ve got a fallback without having to spend on the same part.
We also appreciate that they provide coast-to-coast delivery—a big plus if you’re not in the area or have plans with the parts outside of Ottawa.
It’s best to inquire and order during the weekdays, though, since they’re closed on weekends. And ordering and requesting delivery at the last minute might mean you’ll have to wait longer.
Nonetheless, Dave’s Auto Parts is a reliable place for used auto parts, especially since they’re listed as a member of the Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association.

We’re impressed that Auto Parts Locators Sales & Service has a wide catalogue with broad coverage systems. Think engines, transmissions, alternators, radiators, suspension, AC parts, and more. It also means they can often supply nearly everything you’d need for many repair jobs.
We also have to give them props for testing and having well-followed quality control when it comes to their used parts, especially before installation.
Beyond their parts and installation services, they also handle collisions, body repairs and related services, which is a lifesaver during emergency fixes. That said, given their 50 years of combined experience, they bring institutional savvy to diagnosing parts and installations.
The downside? They’re closed three days a week, from Friday to Sunday. This can be frustrating if the only free time you’ve got is during those days.
But hey, if you only need a part and can install it yourself, they do offer after-hours pickup as long as you give them a heads up that you’re arriving late.
