Ottawa Tires and Rims is one of the most reputable tire shops in Ottawa, mainly because of its widely varied selection. For starters, they offer thousands of stocks of both their summer and winter tires manufactured by lesser to more well-known brands.
This selection is great because it can cater to various budgets as well. Plus, it helps that they also offer multiple types of designs.
We were also surprised to discover that they’re one of the leading distributors of rims in Ottawa, featuring numerous brands and designs. Furthermore, they offer replica rims for customers on a tight budget, and even customised designs for those looking to add more flair to their rides.
Our only gripe? They’re closed on weekends.
On the upside, we particularly appreciate the efficiency of this shop’s team. We interviewed previous customers, and they praised these professionals for their quick turnaround time, whether it be with installations, swapping, etc.

Mr. Tires Ottawa was one of our top prospects because it’s an all-around auto shop, offering additional services like detailing and oil changes. However, the main highlight here remains the wide selection of tires they offer.
One of the things we love about this shop is that it can cater to different types of car owners. For instance, they offer various budget-friendly models from lesser-known brands, and even feature a used tire section for those who are really on a tight budget.
Moreover, they feature some of the most well-known brands in the market, including Goodyear, Bridgestone, and Continental.
Their selection can be overwhelming at times, which is why we appreciate the online tire finder on their website. It’s a user-friendly sorting tool where customers can enter the specs of their cars to find compatible models.
However, one thing we don’t like is the shop’s slightly inconvenient location, as it’s a bit of a drive away from the city centre. Furthermore, they’re closed on Sundays.

Super Tire reigns supreme when it comes to affordability because it offers used but high-quality tires. They offer an impressive selection as well, featuring different brands and types that can cater to various makes.
We also interviewed previous customers, and aside from the cheap prices, they highlighted the team the most.
They shared how fast they worked, highlighting how their wheels were installed in as fast as 20 minutes. Also, we were pleased to discover that their service fee were just as affordable as the tires.
Customers also expressed appreciation for the team’s knowledge, noting that they provided helpful tips to help maintain their cars. Furthermore, they were also mentioned as being kind throughout their interactions.
The location is also easily accessible by car. Plus, it’s located near coffee shops, where customers can relax while waiting for their vehicles.
The only downside, however, is that they only sell used tires.

We drove by Urban Reifen – Tires and Wheels Ottawa once, and were immediately captivated by their aesthetically pleasing garage. Entering their store, we realised that one of the biggest reasons for their cosy ambience is their in-house cafe.
It’s decorated with beautiful colourful rims, and its counter even takes the form of those bright red mechanic drawers. Plus, they offer a foosball table as well, making boredom the least of your problems while waiting for your car.
However, the main highlight is still the wheel and tire collection. They offer various types of wheels for different seasons and terrains, as well as alloy wheels that come in different colours.
They also offer a wide variety of tire-related services such as mounting, rebalancing, and swapping. We asked previous clients about these services, and they mostly brought up the quick turnaround time.
We also appreciate how Urban Reifen offers a convenient online shop and delivery options. However, we would’ve loved it if they offered more affordable options.

We discovered Sipan Tires & Rims while searching for aftermarket wheels online, and we were immediately impressed with their selection. They offered a variety of finishes, designs, sizes, and more to cater to different makes, and the best part is that they offer online shopping!
Their tire selection also caught our attention because of its sheer variety. They offered models that varied in treads, sizes, and styles, and fortunately, their site also featured a neat sorting tool for easier browsing.
We also interviewed previous customers, who brought their cars to Sipan’s shop, and the most common thing they brought up was the team’s friendliness.
From what we gathered, they were prompt and knowledgeable as well. A handful of our interviewees even told us how impressed they were with the mechanics’ clear communication of what tires would go well with their cars.
The only thing we’d change about Sipan is their limited operating hours, as they’re only open on weekdays at the time of writing.
