Nuovo Artistic Photography is renowned for its wide range of services, including maternity, passion sessions for couples, and self-love (semi-nude) portraits. Because of that, we were glad to know that they consist of a skilled all-female team!
When we dropped by their studio, we noticed how thoughtfully designed their space was to highlight the subject’s natural beauty. The abundance of glass windows allows plenty of natural light, which complements their expert use of artificial lighting setups.
For maternity photography, their approach leans towards simplicity and elegance, as demonstrated by their use of a satin cover as the sole prop. However, the only available colour option for the backdrop is black, which we found somewhat limiting in terms of variety.
It’s also worth noting that costumes or themed options aren’t part of the package, though hair and make-up services are a thoughtful inclusion.
Additionally, they offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation as well as a same-day viewing experience. While these are great, their post-session upselling of additional services could feel persistent to some.

As for her studio, it has a cosy, well-equipped setup. We were happy to see how relaxed the environment felt, complete with snacks and drinks. The bonus? It’s pet-friendly too.
In terms of flexibility, Kayla has it down to a science. Whether you want to stay in the studio or head out to a different location, she’s all in, and there’s no time limit on full sessions.
Furthermore, many of her previous clients mentioned that she is committed to creating high-quality, professionally retouched portraits. One more thing we noted is the 50% discount on the newborn session if you book it together with a maternity shoot.
