Sudsey’s is also one of the most accessible laundromats in Ottawa, thanks to its two conveniently located branches in the city that are open seven days a week.
Furthermore, we appreciate how they offer both a coin machine and an ATM in their Wellington branch. This makes it easy for customers to access their coin-operated laundry machines.
Speaking of, these machines are specifically designed for commercial use, so you can expect them to handle almost every load you have, including bed sheets. The only downside is that they don’t offer dry cleaning services.

Peloso Cleaners was recommended to us by a friend who recently had their Turkish rug dry cleaned. The before-and-after pictures impressed us enough to take a closer look at the shop.
Right off the bat, we noticed how they can cater to different types of textiles and materials, from suede to leather, etc. We also liked that they accept clothes that aren’t typically easy to clean, like wedding dresses, workwear, overalls, and winter coats, without damaging them.
We also interviewed Peloso’s regulars, who constantly mentioned the professionalism of the staff members. They highlighted their knowledge demonstrated during the inspection and how they provided a timeframe for when the clothes would be ready.
Their customer service is also responsive and knowledgeable. When we inquired about their restoration services, they provided a prompt response, telling us how they only use gentle whiteners and cleaning solutions to restore old clothes and household items.
Our only gripe is their limited operating hours during weekends.

We also reached out to their regulars, and aside from sharing the same sentiments regarding their cheap prices, they highlighted the convenient delivery and pick-up services. This service is exclusive for those whose load reach CAD40 or above.
The top-notch customer service was also frequently mentioned during our interviews, stating the staff members’ friendliness, expertise, and professionalism.
We appreciate how this business caters to different types of garments with utmost meticulousness to avoid damage. We’ve seen before-and-after photos from customers who had leather and suede garments dry cleaned, and they looked brand new.
Meanwhile, some customers also reported that the stain was still visible after the cleaning service. Although the Goodfellow ended up redoing their service for free, we still thought it was worth mentioning here.

Additionally, we contacted their customer service line and inquired about their dry cleaning services. What immediately impressed us was their eco-friendliness. They use biodegradable ingredients and integrate a water recycling system that reduces waste by up to 40%.
Their staff members’ knowledge and expertise were also highlighted during our interviews. They showcase this through consultations, where they’ll offer advice on what treatment would suit the customers’ garments best.
The only thing we’d like them to improve is their operating hours, as they’re closed on Sundays and only operate for three hours on Saturdays.

We were already familiar with Stitch It for their alteration services, but we only recently discovered that they also offer dry cleaning. Also, it’s one of the most accessible dry cleaning services, as they’re located inside a mall, and they’re open every day.
One of the things we immediately liked about this shop is its 30-day guarantee. We also reached out to customers who experienced this guarantee, and they told us that Stitch It catered to them promptly and didn’t charge them a penny.
They also shared their appreciation for the staff members’ in-depth explanations before the cleaning process and tips on how to alleviate simple stains at home. Furthermore, they offer constant updates throughout the day.
Our main issue with this place, however, is that delays are common, which can be due to the high volume of customers they get daily. At the same time, we do appreciate how they call their customers in advance if there’s going to be a delay on their end.
